What causes this skin-on-skin irritation and inflammation?

A common cause of skin-on-skin rashes is a condition called Intertrigo (pronounced inter-try-go). It is caused when moisture is trapped in skin folds and is worsened by heat, and skin-on-skin friction. The affected area typically harbors bacteria, fungus and yeast. The symptoms typically include odor, itching and burning.

Commonly affected areas include under the breasts, skin folds on the belly or thighs, the armpits and groin. However, it can happen anywhere there is moisture against the skin with a lack of air circulation.

InterDry® is highly effective at eliminating the symptoms of Intertrigo, such as itching, odor and burning because it addresses the root cause of the problem.

The patented fabric wicks away the moisture and reduces friction. And the antimicrobial silver in the fabric fights the itch and odor from bacteria, fungus and yeast.

Why is the skin-on-skin irritation worse in warm weather?

Do creams and powders work?

Creams and powders frequently fail or take a long time to work because they do not address the root cause of the problem, which is moisture. They must also be reapplied regularly throughout the day, which is inconvenient and messy.

How do I keep the fabric in place?

If the InterDry® fabric does not stay in place, simply secure it using a couple pieces of tape.

Can InterDry® be used with children or by pregnant or nursing women?

The safe use of InterDry® fabric during pregnancy, lactation and on children has not been demonstrated.

Do doctors recommend InterDry®?

Yes. InterDry® is used in leading hospitals throughout the United States. It is doctor recommended and demonstrated effective.

Is InterDry® covered by my Health Savings Account (HSA)?

InterDry® falls within medical expenses that are typically covered by Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). You will need to have a doctor’s prescription and check with your individual HSA plan to confirm that coverage.
